Shakespeare in the Park Debut in Shanghai

On Wednesday night, as an innovative project of the performing arts world, "Shakespeare in the Park" debuted on the outdoor lawn of the Rockbund in Shanghai. In the future, Shakespeare troupes from all over the world will come to Shanghai Park to participate in cultural festivals and jointly create new brands integrating culture and tourism.

This time, Huangpu Culture and Tourism Group launched the "Shakespeare in the Park" project and registered a trademark. The first round of performances will continue until Thursday. Huangpu district is the area with the most extensive park green belt in the downtown area. Next year, Fuxing Park and the City Lawn Music Plaza next to the Shanghai Concert Hall will stage classic plays such as "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and "Romeo and Juliet".
