Security Measures: Temporary camps of terrorist insurgents discovered

Aiming to secure peaceful and stable live and environ for the people, Tatmadaw is actively conducting necessary security operations in respective regions and states.

On 20th June in Yenanchaung Township of Magwe Region, security forces seized illegal items including ammunition, a motorcycle, uniforms, badges and solar panels in Loon Pin Sho Village library, 21,000 meters northeast of the township. Further investigations led to the seizure of temporary tents, motorcycles, ammunitions, explosive devices and communication devices near Nyaung Pin Kar  Village.

Likewise in  Nat Mauk Township on 7th June , security forces seized 2 bodies, arms and ammunitions after counter terrorism operation near Eai Ma Village. Terrorist insurgent groups have engaged in a range of activities targeting local communities, including coercion against civilians, arbitrary arrests and killings, and invading villages to carry out destructive acts.

The individuals who are committed to regional peace and stability are encouraged to provide confidential information about terrorists to the relevant authorities. Likewise, necessary security measures will be accelerated to restore stability promptly.
