Security Measures: Crackdown of online scam operations in Muse

Security forces raided a house in Muse's Kaung Hmu Lwe Ward on Saturday, and arrested people allegedly involved in online scam and gambling operations. They detained 88 suspects, including 17 Chinese nationals and 71 Myanmar nationals. They also seized 180 mobile phones, 44 computers, two power stations, and two vehicles.

In a separate raid in Kaung Hmu Tone Ward, seven Chinese nationals were arrested. Authorities confiscated 103 mobile phones, six laptops, two computers, four Wi-Fi devices, and two CPUs. Those arrested will be investigated and prosecuted under existing laws. The government will continue working with neighboring countries and international partners to combat online scam and gambling networks.
