Search resumes for missing Indonesian journalists on volcano mission

Indonesian rescue teams expanded their operations on Wednesday to find a missing speedboat carrying eight people, including five journalists who went missing while covering the Mount Anak Krakatau eruption. The group set out on a speedboat from an area west of Jakarta on Monday, but the crew lost contact with the boat owner soon after departure.

The rescue teams said they had deployed high-speed search and rescue vessels, inflatable boats and thermal drones. A search was launched on Tuesday but paused hours later due to high waves and poor visibility.
