Sea-going Mobile Hospital: Medical services provided to the local residents

The Tatmadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) with the Medical Teams comprised of specialists, medical officers and nurses from Tatmadaw and the Ministry of Health onboard is on the tour to provide medical services to the residents of Rakhine State Coastal region.

On 6th of March, 11 eye patients from ThaByuChaing and neighboring villages who underwent the eye operation were carried out the healthcare services on the hospital ship and provided eye glasses, nutrient foods and equipments facilitated eyes and medicines. Then, the eye patients who underwent the eye operation were taken to the ThaByuChaing Village, Kyaukkalatt Village-tract in Thandwe Township.

On providing healthcare service by the Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin), the local residents expressed their happiness and words of thanks.

Eye patient, Local resident, said " I’m very thankful to all for helping to restore my eyesight. I’m really happy when I saw faces of my family and doctors and nurses who treated me yesterday."

Eye patient, Local resident, said " I’ve had poor eyesight for about couple of years. Now, I can see everything clearly. I’m greatly delighted. I’m thankful to the specialists, doctors and nurses. This Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel provided medical treatments not only for the eye patients but several diseases. So, we are very thankful to this Mobile Hospital Vessel and may I invited it to come again."

The Tatmadaw Sea-going Mobile Hospital Vessel (Thanlwin) left ThaByuChaing  Village for KyaukNiMaw Village of Rambye Township to provide healthcare services to the local residents.
