School enrollment in Myitkyina: SAC member attended the opening ceremony

State Administration Council Member Daw Dwe Bu, together with Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan and responsible officials, attended and officiated the opening of the Kachin State 2025–2026 Academic Year Student Enrollment ceremony held on May 26 at Basic Education High School No. (1) in Myitkyina.

At the beginning of the ceremony, SAC Member Daw Dwe Bu and the Chief Minister attended the opening event of the Kachin State 2025–2026 Academic Year Student Enrollment Day held on the football field of the school. Along with responsible officials, they inaugurated the ceremony by cutting the ribbon.

Next, they watched a performance of a Ka-Byar-Lut dance by 200 female students from local high schools and warmly greeted and encouraged the attending students, teachers, and parents. They also distributed morning snacks and bottles of tea to the attendees. Following the performance, SAC Member, Chief Minister, and officials toured the classrooms, where they observed the ongoing student enrollment process and spoke with teachers and parents who were present to enroll students.

Later, the ceremony continued at the Aye Mya Thida hall, where Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan delivered a speech. SAC Member Daw Dwe Bu, the Chief Minister, and other officials then distributed free printed textbooks, blank notebooks, writing materials, and school uniforms to basic education students, class by class.

They also visited small exhibition booths displaying teaching aids, educational achievement showcases, and photo galleries set up in the hall of the schools. In addition, on the afternoon of May 25, SAC Member Daw Dwe Bu, the Chief Minister, and members of the state government attended the closing ceremony and award presentation of the 3-Day MSME Products Exhibition/Competition and Trade Fair held at the Sitapu Manaw Ground in Myitkyina, organized by the Kachin State Government.
