School enrollment day: Taninthayi Region CM attended ceremony

The School Enrollment Day ceremony for the 2025–2026 academic year in Tanintharyi Region was held at the Assembly Hall of Basic Education High School No. (3) in Dawei May 28.

At the ceremony, Tanintharyi Region Chief Minister U Myat Ko emphasized the importance of timely school enrollment by stating that, in accordance with the motto “Let’s Enroll Every School-Age Child for Continuous Learning,” all responsible officials must make collective and dedicated efforts to ensure that every school-age child is enrolled in school without interruption.

Following this, the Regional Director of Education, U Win Naung, gave a detailed presentation on the enrollment process. Then, the Chief Minister, the Chief Justice of the Region High Court, and the Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs jointly distributed school materials, including printed textbooks and blank exercise books for the primary, middle, and high school levels, as well as school uniforms for primary students.
