School Enrollment Activity: Bago Region Chief Minister attends the ceremony

The school enrollment day ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year took place on May 23rd at Bago City Hall, attended by Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win.

The ceremony commenced with students from Basic Education High School (MyoANauk-B) singing the song "Myanmar School". Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Minister emphasized that as the objective "Promoting the comprehensive education sector to turn out the human resources needed to build a modern, developed nation", it is essential for overcoming obstacles and achieving success, highlighting the importance of cooperation among relevant departments and the entire populace.

He underscored education as an investment in abundant human resources and its critical role in nation-building. Additionally, he urged all to prioritize ensuring that all school-age children attend and complete KG+9 education, highlighting it as a national responsibility.

After that, the Chief Minister and Social Affairs Minister U Myo Aung handed over the teaching aids such as the school textbooks, uniforms and stationeries to the district education officer. They later enjoyed the song “Let’s enroll”, performed by the No.3 Basic Education High School students, presented cash rewards to them and observed the school enrollment. It's reported that there are more than 4,000 basic education schools in Bago Region.
