Honouring: Kachin State swimming team honoured for success

Kachin State Government on Saturday night welcomed its team which gained success in the 2024 Region/State Swimming Competition.

It’s the first time for the Kachin State Team to have participated in the Region/State Swimming Competition, the team earned 3 gold medals and 1 bronze medals, ranking the 3rd in the Competition. Chief Minister U KhetHtein Nan and many other officials welcomed the winning swimming athletes at the Myitkyina Airport.

There, the Chief Minister expressed words of congratulations to the winning team and called for efforts to try hard to get more success in the future. And, the Chief Minister presented 2 million Kyats to the athlete who earned 2 gold medals, 1.4 million Kyats to the athlete who grabbed 1 gold medal and 1 bronze medal, and 1 million Kyats to the team. Then, coach of the team shared experiences and expressed words of thanks.
