













Member of the State Administration Council Daw Dwe Bu, together with Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs Jeng Phang Naw Taung and officials, met with the religious leaders from various Christian Organizations in Myitkyina of Kachin State on Saturday.
The SAC member said all religious leaders need to ask for blessing to achieve stability in the state and development in Kachin State. The SAC member and party also made cash donations to the respective organizations.
The SAC member and party later visited AndawShin Buddhist Missionary Monastery, and paid respect to the Chairman Sayadaw of State Sangha Nayaka Committee and members of the Sangha. After submitting the religious matters, they donated rice, edible oil, offertories and cash donations to the Sayadaws and members of the Sangha.
The SAC member and party later met with officials from 14 National Races Literature and Culture Association at Manaw House and urged all to cooperate in an effort for stability of the state and development. Union Minister Jeng Phang Naw Taw also stressed the need to make cooperative efforts for the interest of the state and the country as well.
The Chief Minister also said that it is needed to make collaboration and cooperation with the departmental personnel in safeguarding the literature and culture of respective national races. They also presented cash assistance to the cultural associations.
In the afternoon, the SAC member and party attended the mass gathering, held at the city hall in Myitkyina. The attendees reported on the needs for transportation, land issue and vocational works, and the concerned officials explained the arrangements to be made for the respective sectors. The SAC member and the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements.
