


The State Administration Council meeting (1/2022) was held at the meeting room of SAC Chairman’s office, Nay Pyi Taw on 20th January and the SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing addressed the meeting.
Present at the meeting were the Vice SAC Chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Vice Senior General Soe Win, Council members, Council secretary and joint-secretary. In his opening address, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister mentioned the taking state-responsibilities is going to be full of one year soon. Regarding with the international relations during the tenure, Cambodia Prime Minister paid a working visit and took place discussions on ASEAN affairs especially focused on the five consensuses during the ASEAN Summit during April, 2021.
As a first point, all stakeholders to stop the acts of violence and take part in the dialogue were discussed. The differences between the EAOs and terrorist groups were clarified. The working visit of Cambodia Prime Minister was a successful trip.
Next, the SAC Chairman explained the general situations of the country including protests at 60% of locations of the country as a whole after February 3rd, the ordinary protests transformed into committing violence, exploding and killings.
As the government is pacing on the democracy path, the utmost restraint is being exercised on all acts of violence. The martial law was declared only in the extremely severe regions. Then, he clarified the country’s situation in economic downward since 2018 due to the mismanagements in economic policies.
Regarding the social, health and security matters, the opening of schools closed due to the COVID-19, increase of attendance, situations of educational personnel’s involvement in CDM, opening of universities, health personnel’s participation in CDM, organizing states and regions sports competitions, frequent meeting with NCA signatories and side line meeting with Non-NCA signatories, involvement of Non-NCA signatories EAOs KIA and KNPP in acts of sabotages, supporting of CDM groups, giving explosion trainings, providing weapons and ammunitions, their involvements in destroying roads and bridges, the terrorist groups’ acts of killing innocent people and health, education and administration personnel are not against the government, those just are stupid acts of destroying the country.
During the period of NLD government’s ruling, they frequently approached the commander in chief to amend the section-59 (f) of constitution (2008). Tatmataw understands the requirements to amend the constitution for irrelevant facts in it, but the amendments must not affect the three causes of the country.
The SAC Chairman Prime Minister also pointed out the equal development of the regions regarding with the peace and the points regarding with the development of the country in detail. Next, the council members U Thein Nyunt, Mann Nyein Maung, U Khin Maung Swe, Jeng Phang Naw Taung, Daw Aye Nu Sein, U Maung Har, Saw Danial and Dr. Bayan Aung Moe discussed and gave suggestions on the relevant matters.
Also Lt. Gen. Soe Htut clarified the extended formation of districts in Nay Pyi Taw, Regions and States and Lt. Gen. Moe Myint Tun reported work implementations of Myanmar Investment Commission during the tenure of State Administration Council.
Then, the vice SAC chairman deputy prime minister vice senior general Soe Win clarified the preparations for the celebration of 75th Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of Union Day. Afterward, the SAC Chairman Prime Minister replied the suggestions and clarifications case by case and delivered a speech of conclusion
