
Russian airports have strengthened sanitary and quarantine control because deaths from China's new virus rose to 17 on Wednesday with more than 540 cases confirmed. On Wednesday flight from the Chinese city of Nanjing with 341 passengers and 12 crew members on board arrived in Moscow. There they went through the medical inspection onboard as well as in the airport's terminal.
Passengers from China's Beijing, Habin and Sanya arrived in Khabarovsk airport on Wednesday, where they were inspected by the specialists of Russian Service for the Oversight of Consumer Protection and Welfare with the use of thermal cameras that detect heat and convert it into an image. There were no cases of passengers showing symptoms of coronavirus both in Moscow and Khabarovsk. Coronavirus, which can cause pneumonia and has no effective vaccine, was being spread from breathing. Symptoms include fever, coughing and difficulty breathing.
