Rural Development: Union Minister visits Department of Rural Development

Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe visited the Department of Rural Development in Ann Township of Rakhine State on Wednesday morning and met the district/township-level governmental officials and staff.

The Union Minister called for efforts for successful implementation of the Emerald Green Project, MSME industry, cooperative and livestock breeding tasks which is operated with the state economic promotion fund.

He also called on them to complete rural development projects in a timely manner, to sell high demand products at the cooperative stores, to conduct training courses for acceleration of value-added consumer goods production and to support the trainees with technical and capital assistance before fulfilling the requirements of the attendees and giving necessary instructions.
