






Chairman of the Career Rehabilitation Work Committee Union Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe, along with officials inspected the damage to MSMEs and manufacturing facilities caused by the March 28 Mandalay earthquake in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday.
The Union Minister and party inspected earthquake damage to buildings, ongoing restoration and reoperation status during the visit to KunChanSu Village in Pobbathiri Township. They heard reports on recovery efforts and discussed plans for loan disbursement.
At the Shwe Ou Daung Bean Mill in Pyinmana Township, they inspected earthquake damage to the mill and bean roasting plant and reviewed reports on resumed operations. The Union Minister also discussed MSME loan disbursement and pledged full support for operational challenges.
The Union Minister and party then proceeded to the multi-purpose farm of the Township Cooperative Association to inspect the damage to office buildings, the cattle farm and poultry farm and provided necessary instructions. They then visited the YunnMi Tailor Shop in Aye Myint Tharyar Village of Pobbathiri Township, established by the Small Scale Industries Department. He encouraged the trainees to work collaboratively to ensure the business’s success.
