








Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Myint Soe visited Ywalut Village in Chaungsone Township of Mon State on Saturday to inspect the chosen sites for upgrade works on Ywalut-Kataung Sein Road.
The project will be being implemented by the budget allotment of the Union Government for 2025-2026 fiscal year. They then proceeded to Kyan Khin Village and oversaw the work implementations under the Village Development Program, including water supply works, road upgrade and conducting training courses.
On arrival at Kwan Thae and Karite Thit Villages, the Deputy Minister and party encouraged the businesses, being operated by the trainees who completed the course, conducted by the Small Scale Industries Department.
In meeting with the executives and members of Cooperative Associations in Chaungsone Township, the Deputy Minister instructed for achieving the targeted yield of monsoon paddy and the success of oil crop plantations. During the meeting, paddy species and seeders were provided for the farmers. They then inspected the cultivation of paddy using the seeders.
At the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training Center, the Deputy Minister heard reports on the salient points of the center and instructed for creating job opportunities for the trainees. They then inspected the construction progress of three-storey classrooms, being undertaken by the budget allotment of 2024-2025 fiscal year.
