The Road and Transport Administration Departments (RTAD) will resume their operations and services soon across the country, said the officials of Yangon Region Road and Transport Administration Department on 2nd June.
As the offices of Road and Transport Administration Departments were temporarily closed to prevent the spread of COVID-19 disease, services for transferring ownership, renewal of vehicle registration, driver licenses and inspection of vehicles are still suspended too. Now, the Road and Transport Administration Department has arranged necessary preparations to resume the operations and services with the guidelines of Ministry of Health and Sports.

To avoid mass gathering, COVID-19 preventive measures have been arranged at the offices in cooperation with regional COVID-19 Control and Prevention Committee. Now, we are ready to restart the operations and services when the government announced. I would like to urge the people who will come to office to take services, to follow the rules to prevent COVID-19 disease.”
Just two persons for one vehicle will be allowed and all people will have to wear face masks.
