A total of 366 Myanmar migrant workers returned home through the Myawady Friendship Bridge (2) in Myawady, Kayin State on 28th June.
With the permission from the Myanmar Embassy in Thailand, they came back by their own schedules. Kayin State Hluttaw representative U Thant Zin Aung and other officials performed medical checks and assisted the returnees with other arrangements upon their arrival.
These returnees were 208 males and 158 females. Over 35,000 returnees have entered this crossing since 1 May.
