Returnees in respective Land borders: Officials welcome Myanmar returnees at border crossings

Myanmar nationals from abroad are welcomed at various border crossings. On 16thJanuary, a total of 4 returnees including 2 males and 2 females came back home through Laukkai, northern Shan State.

On the 17th, 72 males and 10 males totaling 82 returned back Myawaddy, Kayin State. Healthcare officials from relevant public hospitals and members of the Tatmadaw Medical Corps conducted COVID-19 tests and provided quarantine entry documents for the returnees.

They also explained the instructions of the Ministry of Health and departmental officials provided necessary assistance.

The township administration then transported them to their respective places in vehicles and the infected people were kept in separate places to facilitate necessary medical and administrative matters.
