Return From Thailand: Myanmar Nationals Return Through Friendship Bridge

Myanmar nationals continue to return from Thailand. On the 6th of July, 1,142 persons returned through the No.2 Thai-Myanmar Friendship Bridge in Myawaddy of Kayin State, Information and Public Relations Department reported.

Officials checked their health condition and fulfilled their requirements. The returnees are 690 men and 452 women from different regions and states. So far, a total of 42,230 Myanmar nationals have returned from Thailand through the border crossing since the 1st of May.

All the returnees are put under the 21-day quarantine for COVID-19 prevention and control.
