Preparations have been made for re-opening of the tea shops, restaurants and guest houses in Magwe Region.

Magwe Township Information and Public Relations Department, in cooperation with the social organizations, distributed COVID-19 awareness posters and vinyl sheets at the tea shops and restaurants.

Owner, Maha Nwe Foods Center, Tun Lin said “We make arrangements for the tables to meet the guidelines, set by the Ministry. Each table is set for two customers with the partition in the middle. We also placed basins for hand washing, hand gel and soaps for the customers. We also provided masks, face shields and gloves for the waiters and staff.”

Owner, Kyel Sin Thit Foods Center, Khin Thida said “The Regional Government issued guidelines for re-opening of the restaurants. We make arrangements for the customers in line with the guidelines. At present, we only give takeaway service.”

Township Discipline Control Committee will check the preparation process of the restaurants, tea shops and guest houses, and will allow for re-opening once they meet the criteria.
