Renovation of Zhangyuan Garden Continues Despite Pandemic

Located on West Nanjing Road in downtown Shanghai, Zhangyuan Garden, is a key renovation project in the historical protection area.

During the current COVID-19 wave, the construction and project investment of the Garden was never suspended.In order to ensure the dual requirements of epidemic prevention and project construction, the construction team endeavors to overcome difficulties such as material transportation and limited personnel during the pandemic.

Since mid-March, Zhangyuan construction team has been implementing closed-loop management in which construction workers are divided into Class A and Class B within 24 hours of each round of three days. The construction team in the closed loop area needs to complete the antigen test twice a day and the PCR test arranged by subdistrict.At present, among the 16 buildings in the 19,000 square meters in West District of Zhangyuan Garden, 14 have completed the repair work both on the structural part and above the second floor. The completed volume accounts for about 70% of the entire project.
