Renovation Works: Repairs of damaged areas at Uppatasanti Pagoda

Chairman of Nay Pyi Taw Council U Than Tun Oo and officials visited Uppatasanti Pagoda in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday to oversee the repair works of damaged areas in the pagoda compound, caused by the severe earthquake.

Repair works are being carried out on the pagoda platform and terraces and in the precinct. Officials also provided update reports on work undertakings for cement grouting and soil stabilization. The Council Chairman instructed for speedy completion of the tasks, meeting the set standards and ensuring long term durability.
