Relocation Efforts: MCRD Union Minister inspects the temporary housings

Relocation efforts for the quake-hit staff families are underway at the respective ministries in Nay Pyi Taw.

On Sunday. Union Minister for Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development U Hla Moe oversaw the relocation of staff from the Ministry Office, Cooperative Department and Small Scale Industries Department. The temporary Basha buildings and fabricated modular houses were constructed for the affected staff families at the land plot owned by the ministry.

Necessary basic needs such water and power supply and sewage system were also provided for the convenience of the staff. During the inspection, the Union Minister instructed for speedy completion of installing the fabricated modular houses and systematic relocation of the affected staff families.
