Religious Title Conferring: MoRC Union Minister attends the ceremony

Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U KoKo attended MahaGanthaWasakaPandita religious title conferring ceremony for 2023 to Presiding NayakaSayadawBuddhantaKuthala of Lin JuuTaung Buddhist Missionary in Hong Kong of the People’s Republic of China and cash donation ceremony for construction of Maravijaya Buddha Image in DekkhinaThiriTownsip of Nay Pyi Taw and AlaeTawya DhammaWizaya SasanaBeikman by Sayadaw BuddhantaKuthala.

The ceremony was held at the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday. At the ceremony, Maha Gantha Wasaka Pandita Title was conferred to the Presiding Sayadaw of Lin JuuTaung Buddhist Missionary in Hong Kong. Sayadaw also donated 20,000 USD for the construction of Maravijaya Buddha Image and the layperson of the Sayadaw donated 5 million kyats. Cash were also donated for AlaeTawyaDhammaWizaya SasanaBeikman constructed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture and the Union Minister accepted the donation and gave in turn certificate of honour.
