








A ceremony to enshrine objects by well-wishers across the nation led by the leading donor Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing at the centers upper jewelled throne of Maravijaya Buddha Image that is being built at the Maravijaya Buddha park in Nay Pyi Taw Dekkhina Thiri Township of Union Territory was held at the Buddha Park on Friday.
The ceremony was graded by Sayadaws and monks led by the Maravijaya Buddha Image Building Ovadasariya Sayadaw Nay Pyi Tw Pyinmana Pali Thetkathoe Mingalar Zay Yone Monastery Presiding Sayadaw Buddhanta Wimala Buddhi, SAC Chairman Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and well-wishers.
At the briefing hall of the Maravijaya Buddha park, the Prime Minister paid homage to the Sayadaws and monks led by Pali Sayadaw and donated offertories and cash. Later, the Prime Minister and well-wishers observed precious gems and jewelleries donated by generous donors, silver coils from internationals and objects to be enshrined and the Leading donor Prime Minister supplicated to the Sayadaws.
It was followed by a ceremony to enshrine donated items and the ceremony was held according to the agenda. At the auspicious time, the Pali Sayadaw and the Prime Minister enshrined the golden caskets putting precious gems, jewelleries and donated items donated by well-wishers across the nation including silver coils from internationals and the stone inscription of Maravijaya Buddha Image at the designated places of reliquaries of the Buddha image in line with the traditions.
Moreover, officials enshrined donated items at the remaing places of reliquary. After that, Sayadaws and monks led by Pali Sayadaw and the Prime Minister sprinked the reliquaries with scented water. It was followed by recitation of ZayaMingalarAungGathas led by Pali Sayadaw and then, the donors led by the Prime Minister and congregations shared the merits gained.
To mark the success of the enshrining ceremony, the rituals of golden and silver showers were performed. After that, the Prime Minister viewed around construction of Maravijaya Buddha Image in the Buddha Park and gave necessary instructions.
The enshrining of donated objects at the centers of the jewelled throne of the Buddha Image started on 27th January and over 104 ticals of gold, gold items with jewelleries and gems weighing 200 ticals, 3 kilograms of various gems plus horoscopes of Buddha, silver coils from internationals and precious gems and jewelries could be enshrined on that day.
On Friday ceremony, over 1,360 ticals of gold items, 1,684 ticals of gold items with jewelries and silver items including gems, various kind of gems, pearls including international silver coils and precious gems donated by well-wishers across the nation were enshrined at the centers upper the throne and over 810 million kyats donated cash were accepted for the Buddha image.
