Religious Affairs: Senior General Makes Donations In Mandalay

Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing on Sunday afternoon visited the Sasana Hitakari Dhamma Beikman in Mandalay to donate rice, cooking oil and other offertories to members of the Sangha.

The Senior General paid respects to the Maha Wizithayon Monastery Nayaka Sayadaw and discussed with concerned officials to provide necessary assistance. There, 15 million Kyats, 5 bags of rice, 5 bags of bean, cooking oil, potato, onion, nutritious foodstuffs and medicines.

Later the day, the Senior General paid homage to the Sutaungpyae Pagoda on Mandalay Hill and donated offertories and cash. There, he also called for maintenance before signing in the guests' book.
