Religious Affairs: Meeting of State Sangha Central Working Committee

The third day of the fifth meeting of the Eighth State Sangha Central Working Committee was held at the Maha Pasana Cave on Thiri Mingala Kaba Aye Hill in Mayangon Township of Yangon Region on Thursday. The meeting was attended by State Ovadacariya Sayadaws, State Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee member Sayadaws, State Sangha Central Working Committee member Sayadaws, and other officials of relevant departments.

In this meeting, certificates of the State Vinaya Panel of Judges were presented to Sayadaws of the Separate State Vinaya Panel of Judges and the State Vinaya Panel of Judges. Fifteen Ovadacariya Sayadaws, Secretary Sayadaw, and a representative each from region/state and Ganas signed the substitutions, decisions, confirmations, and records made at the fifth meeting of the 8th State Sangha Central Working Committee were recorded in the Religious History Book.
