Relief Flights: 148 Myanmar Citizens Arrived Back from UAE

148 Myanmar citizens including the migrants and seamen from the United Arab Emirates arrived back in Yangon on Sunday.

The officials from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports and Yangon Region Government provided assistance for health screening and quarantine process.

With the guidance of the National Level Central Committee for COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is coordinating with the concerned embassies and ministries from the respective countries for bringing back Myanmar citizens during the travel restriction of international flights.

A total of 1113 Myanmar citizens from Japan, India, Republic of Korea, Thailand, Bangladesh, Singapore, US, UK, Indonesia and UAE have been brought back so far by the relief flights.
