Regional Tourism Development: Meeting on tourism industry development in Magway Region

Mgway Region Tourism Working Committee held its meeting 1/2022 at the regional government office on 20th January.

At the meeting, Chairm of the Committee, Magway Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin said that it is important for local and foreign visitors who are travelling across the nation including Magway region to accomodate safety and in peace of mind. Efforts will be made Magway region to be included in thewell-known destinations of Myanmar.

He also called for committee members to give recommendations on implementation of Shwe Set Taw area as aneco-tourism site and conducting of tourism human resource development training course.

The meeting focused on granting permission to renewal of 11 hotels and motels, allowing 5-minute video clip recording of remarkable travel destinations in Magway Region to be broadcast on tourism-friendly TV channels and media, conducting COVID-19 safety training courses at hotels and motels and issuing regional plaques on safety level.
