Regional Development: SAC Member visits Kalay and Sagaing

Member of the State Administration Council Deputy Prime Minister and Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo and party visited sunflower plantation in PhaungKuu Village of In Tainggyi Village-tract in Kalay Township of Sagaing Region on 22nd February.

After coordinating on the reports by the farmers, the SAC member presented the insecticides and sunflower seeds. Official from the District Agriculture Department explained the systematic usage of insecticide to the farmers.

The SAC member and party later inspected the construction of PhaungSeik Production Road in the village, and gave instructions. On arrival at Sagaing, they visited Thuta Thukha Fertilizer Factory in Padamya Industrial Zone, and viewed the production process of Zarmani Brand Compound Fertilizer.

The SAC member and party later met with the region, district and township levels departmental personnel, health and education staff, and gave a speech. They also provided sports gears, provisions and foodstuff to the attendees.
