Regional Development: Kachin State CM inspects development works in Moe Kaung

Kachin State Chief Minister U Khet Htein Nan made inspections on work implementations in Moe Kaung Township in Moe Nyin District for the development of agriculture, livestock breeding and industrial productions of the township on 2nd March.

During the inspection, the Chief Minister and officials inspected an oil mill in Tha Htay Kone Village and sunflower plantations in Kyun Pin Thar Village and gave instructions on growing peanuts and winter crops and developing MSME enterprises.

And then, he met with the local farmers and growers and provided cash assistance. Then, the Chief Minister attended a meeting with members of township and village level Project Supervisory Committees and MSME entreprenaurs at the City Hall.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister urged all to use state economic promotion fund to develop the socio-economic life of the local residents, to create job opportunities within the state and to improve MSME enterprises based on local raw mateirals.

And then, an official clarified work implementations on agriculture and livestock breeding by using state economic promotion fund and the Chief Minister coordinated the requirements. And the Chief Minister and party looked around the displays of local food products and commodities at the City Hall.

Then, he inspected the construction of 2 storey operation rooms at Township General Hospital and provided nutrient food and cash assistance to the patients. After that, the Chief Minister heard report on the constructions progress of new city hall in Namti Township and inspected the new city hall and gave instructions.
