Refresher Course: Capacity building enhancement for staff

The opening of refresher course for enhancing capacity building of the staff of the Ministry of Electric Power was held in conjunction with the prize presentation to the staffs who won prizes in the article, painting, essay and poem competitions marking the 76th Union Day on Monday.

Union Minister for Electric Power U Thaung Han, Directors General of Departments and Enterprises under the Ministry, managing directors, deparmental heads, course instructors, trainees and winners attended the event. At the ceremony, the Union Minister gave a speech.

It was followed by the prize presentation ceremony and the Union Minister and officials presented prizes to the winners who won in the Ministry level Article, Painting, Eassy and Poem Competitions, respectively. Union Minister U Thaung Han, Union Minister for Industry Dr Charlie Than, Deputy Minister for Industry and departmental heads attended a work coordination meeting on solar power plant project to be implemented by the Ministry of Industry.

At the meeting, Union Minister for Electric Power and Union Minister for Industry gave speeches respectively. Departmental heads discussed conditions to be built the solar power plant on the land owned by Ministry of Industry in Daik Oo township and programs, policies and procedures.
