Reform Workshop: MIFER Union Minister addressed the reform workshop

The Reform Workshop for the good administration and capacity enhancement of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations was held at the ministry, Nay Pyi Taw in the morning on January 17.

At the workshop, the Union Minister U Aung Naing Oo urged to discuss by digging up the issues for being a ministry which can render better services, development of a good administrative system to facilitate the works to be done more quickly and effectively within the ministry, uplifting capacity of the personnel, effective collaboration among the departments and the emergence of quality assured mechanism in policy matter and administrative matter through data analyzing. 

Next, the deputy minister U Than Aung Kyaw discussed to be a strong institution in the future direction of the ministry and perform the collective leadership model in serving the duties of the ministry.

Then, the permanent secretary clarified the implementation of arrangements regarding the workshop, background cause and plans and the process of drawing a reform plan for the ministry to be able to implement practically by reviewing the discussions outcome from the workshop.

The key speaker personnel, the personnel from the office of union minister, the directorate of investment and company administration, Foreign Economic Relations Department attended the two days workshop.

In addition, the personnel from the directorate of investment and company administration and the regions and states branches attended the workshop through Virtual system.
