Red balloons fly over Brazil in honor of 30,000 coronavirus victims

A group of performance artists gathered in Brazil's capital of Brasilia on Monday to honor the 30,000 victims of coronavirus in the country. Dressed all in white, the artists held red balloons in the shape of love hearts for the performance piece entitled, 'Those Who Have Gone Was Somebody's Love'. Releasing them into the sky, the artists hope to raise awareness that the country's stark pandemic death toll is more than just a statistic. As of Monday, Brazil has confirmed more than 529,000 coronavirus cases and 30,058 deaths.
