Receiving religious guidance: MoRAC Union Minister attended the ceremony

The occasion of the receiving religious guidance from the Ovadacariya Sayadaws of Uppatasanti Pagoda was held at the community hall on the pagoda flatform in the evening on March 4 with the attendance of the vice Chairperson of the State Sanghamahanayaka Committee presiding Sayadaw of Koe Saung monastery Baddanta Jotipala from Myingyan Township, Presiding Sayadaw of Thiho Pariyatti Sarthin Taik Dr. Baddanta Sandanasara from Kyaukme Township, Shan State (North) on behalf of the Chairperson of the State Sanghamahanayaka Committee Bamaw Sayadaw Baddanta Kumarabhivamsa and local Ovadacariya Sayadaws.

The Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko, permanent secretary U Myint Oo, members of pagoda board of trustee attended the occasion.

At the occasion, Union Minister for Religious Affairs and Culture U Ko Ko supplicated religious affairs, took the five precepts administered by the presiding Sayadaw of Koe Saung monastery Baddanta Jotipala, took the sermon delivered by the Presiding Sayadaw of Thiho Pariyatti Sarthin Taik Dr. Baddanta Sandanasara, shared the merits gained and concluded the ceremony, it’s learnt.
