Receiving relief supplies: MOI UM accepted relief supplies for the staff

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with the Alodawpyae Rescue Team, led by Venerable Kumara, Assistant of Alodawpyae Sayadaw, at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Information in Nay Pyi Taw on April 29.

During the meeting, the Union Minister briefed the delegation on the extent of building damage caused by the earthquake, ongoing rescue and rehabilitation efforts, assistance provided by the Government and international organizations, and his appreciation for the team’s donation of relief supplies.

He then guided the delegation to inspect the earthquake-damaged areas of the ministry’s office buildings.Following this, the Alodawpyae Rescue Team, led by Venerable Kumara, handed over donated relief supplies.

The Union Minister accepted the contributions and presented them with a certificate of honor and commemorative gifts in return. Later, the Union Minister showed the delegation the temporary shelters being systematically constructed in front of the ministry for the staff affected by the earthquake.
