Receiving Ambassador of China: C-in-CDS received Ambassador of China

Commander in Chief of Defence Services General Ye Win Oo received Ms. Ma Jia, Ambassador China to Myanmar, at the Bayintnaung Villa Reception Hall in Nay Pyi Taw Wednesday afternoon.

During the meeting, both sides warmly and openly exchanged views on matters concerning the enhancement of deeper Pauk-Phaw friendship and strategic cooperation between the two countries, joint cooperation for peace, stability, and regional development along the shared border exceeding 1,300 miles, the government's invitation to armed insurgent groups to hold peace talks with a deadline of July 31, 2026, alongside ongoing domestic peace negotiations, efforts to combat illicit drug trafficking as a national duty against the global threat of narcotics, joint efforts with neighboring and regional countries to suppress online scam gambling operations and sectoral cooperation between the two armed forces, including technology and information sharing.
