Queues in Tokyo as S. Korea resumes issuing travel visas

Hundreds of Japanese people waited outside the South Korean Consulate in Tokyo as the country resumed issuing short term travel visas on Wednesday. NTV reports it will take three to four weeks to issue the visas and visa holders will be able to stay in South Korea for up to 90 days. The issuing of the visa had been suspended for more than two years due to the pandemic.
