Queen Letizia of Spain arrived in Honduras on Monday for a two-day trip to the most affected areas by Hurricanes ETA and Iota, bringing several tons of humanitarian aid. The damage caused by the passage of both hurricanes in a two-week span is estimated to have affected more than 4.5 million people and nearly 100,000 of them were left homeless.

Although the Queen's agenda has not been disclosed by the presidency of Honduras citing security concerns, it will include a meeting with President Juan Orlando Hernandez and his wife, as well as visits to a school and a shelter in the affected areas of the Sula Valley.

This is the second time that the Queen of Spain visits Honduras. Her first visit was in 2015.
