



The protective equipments are needed at the four quarantine centers that are opened to monitor the returnees from abroad in Pyay District for COVID-19 disease, the township Pyithu Hluttaw Representative Dr. Khin Soe Soe Kyi said.
She said that although foodstuffs, volunteers and accommodations are enough, PPEs and masks are needed for medical staffs and persons in quarantines.
Pyithu Hluttaw Representative, Pyay Township, Dr. Khin Soe Soe Kyi said “Now, we need mainly masks, gloves and surgical grown for the health staffs and volunteers to carry the patients. We have not received yet now these assistance.”
There are nearly 200 persons in quarantine at four centers in Pyay District. In the last few days, a suspected patient was found with negative. The cooperative efforts are needed as Pyay district officials and volunteering groups are monitoring processes for those who returned from abroad, said Moe Myitta Charity Group Chairman U Moe Gyi.
Chairman, Moe Myitta Charity Group, U Moe Gyi said “I’d like to request all returnees to cooperate as a national task to protect our nation and our people.”
Four Facility Quarantine Centers are opened at Nursing Training School in Pyay, Wet Htee Kan Basic Education High School, Paung Tale Basic Education High School and Lae Be` Basic High School.
