Pyithu Hluttaw Session: 30th day of regular session held

The 30th day of the 2nd Regular Session of the Third Pyithu Hluttaw was held on July 27 at the Pyithu Hluttaw Meeting Hall in Nay Pyi Taw. Of the 351 eligible representatives, 338 attended the session.

In accordance with the agenda, the question-and-answer session commenced with a total of seven questions including whether there is a plan to renew vehicle licenses for motorcars and motorcycles in Kayah State that have been expired for over five years asked by U Maung Shwe (Loikaw Constituency), U Mazo Laung Wee (Lahe Constituency) inquired about obtaining full-time telephone connection coverage, restoring internet access, and appointing a qualified telecommunications officer in Lahe Township, whether there is a plan to provide suitable allowances or salary increases for educational staff and teachers, and if so, in which fiscal year it will be implemented asked by Daw San San Htay (South Dagon Constituency), the management plans for the 2027–2028 fiscal year to improve drainage in the wards of Insein Township, and whether alternative measures will be taken asked by U Nyein Htwe (Insein Constituency), whether there is a plan to upgrade the road connecting Nyan Taw Gyi village and Nyan Kan Gyi village in Shwedaung Township to a concrete road inquired by U Tin Shwe (Shwedaung Constituency), whether there is a plan to upgrade the concrete road section from Sagar Gyi village to the head of the Mezali Bridge in Tae Phyu Village, Danubyu Township asked by U Naing Win (Danubyu Constituency), the possibility of completing work on the Htone Ta Po–Yae Lae–Myit Wa–Yae Dwin Kone Ah Htut Road in Zalun Township so that it can be finished by the 2029–2030 fiscal year asked by U Hla Khaing (Zalun Constituency). These questions were answered and clarified by Deputy Minister for Transport U Tun Lu, Deputy Minister for Digital Development and Communications U Thet Win Aung, Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue Daw Than Than Lin, Nay Pyi Taw Council Member U Win Moe Khaing, and Deputy Minister for Cooperatives and Rural Development U Thaik Soe.
