Pyithu Hluttaw Session: 10th day of 2nd regular session of 3rd Pyithu Hluttaw held

The tenth day of the Second Regular Session of Third Pyithu Hluttaw was held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Pyithu Hluttaw meeting hall at the Hluttaw building in Nay Pyi Taw. The session was attended by Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi, the Deputy Speaker, and Pyithu Hluttaw representatives.

During the meeting, U Kyaw Myint Naing from Naungcho Constituency asked a question seeking to know what measures had been planned to prevent and suppress the spread of illegal online slot gambling throughout Myanmar, U Win Htay from Lewe Constituency asked whether the Ministry of Home Affairs had plans to officially scrutinize and designate 26 sub-villages in Lewe Township, which were currently in a situation similar to illegal villages, by including them in the official village registration list and six other questions were raised.

Deputy Minister for Home Affairs Major General Min Thu and Deputy Minister for Construction U Myo Myint respectively responded and provided clarifications to the questions.

Afterward, the tenth day of the Second Regular Session of Third Pyithu Hluttaw was adjourned, and it was announced that the eleventh day of the meeting would be held on June 19, it’s reported.
