Pyithu Hluttaw Education Talks : Meeting with Private High School founders

Pyithu Hluttaw Speaker U Khin Yi met with private high school founders in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. The school founders introduced themselves and explained the current situation of private schools.

The Speaker emphasized that education is vital for national development, noting that the government prioritizes basic education for all children and also supports out-of-school youth. He highlighted the important role of private schools in raising education standards.

He explained that the Hluttaw has formed an Education Promotion Committee to coordinate with ministries, review nine existing education laws, and make amendments if necessary. He urged private schools to work together with the government and Hluttaw to advance the country’s education sector.
