







The 11th day of the second regular session of the third Pyithu Hluttaw continued in Nay Pyi Taw on Friday. Out of 351 Hluttaw Representatives, 348 attended the session. During the question-and-answer session, Hluttaw Representatives asked about regulating and properly installing WiFi and internet cable systems nationwide, details of contracts and rules for internet packages sold by companies and upgrading rural roads and infrastructure in their constituencies.
Deputy Ministers from the Ministry of Digital Development and Communication and the Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development responded to the questions. After that, the Bill Committee submitted a report on the “Online Fraud Prevention Bill” that had been amended and approved by the Amyotha Hluttaw. The 12th day meeting will be held on June 22.
