The 11th day meeting of the Second Regular Session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw was held on 28 July at the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.
Of the 560 Hluttaw representatives entitled to attend, 537 were present. According to the agenda, Deputy Minister for Finance and Revenue U Han Win Aung explained to the Hluttaw matters relating to the exemption of Special Goods Tax and Commercial Tax on High-Speech Diesel (HSD) 500 ppm), and the exemption of Commercial Tax on Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).
Following the presentation, Dr. Banyar Aung Moe, Representative No. (7) for Mon State, took part in the discussion. Afterwards, Deputy Minister U Han Win Aung responded to the discussion by providing further clarification, and the Hluttaw sought its decision on the matter.
The Pyidaungsu Hluttaw then proceeded to consider the Anti-Online Fraud Bill, on which the two Hluttaws had differing views. Motions were submitted to approve the bill clause by clause, and the Hluttaw reached decisions on each provision. Today's meeting was adjourned at 10:56 a.m. The 12th day meeting of the Second Regular Session of the Third Pyidaungsu Hluttaw is scheduled to continue at 10:00 a.m. on 31st July, it’s reported.
