Providing Solar Systems: MOBA provided solar systems to households in Pinlaung

The Ministry of Border Affairs provided 715 household solar systems to six villages that have not yet had access to electricity in Nar Than Village Tract and Nar Khaik Village Tract in His Hseng Township, Shan State (South).

The handover ceremony took place on July 15, with Union Minister for Border Affairs Lt-Gen Phone Myat attending and presenting the systems. Following the ceremony, the Union Minister inspected the operations of the Loilem District Development Supervision Office, the implementation of solar-powered agricultural water supply in TaungYwa Ward, LinKhe Township, the construction of a 20-foot concrete bridge on the Dar Seik–NaungLun–Wan Sit–Haik Kweik main road, and the ongoing activities of the LinKhe District Development Supervision Office.

On July 14, the Union Minister also inspected the upgrading of a 3-mile-3-furlong earthen road from Pakkaw–HteeYwe–HteeYal  in Pinlaung Township into a hard-surfaced gravel road.
