





An event of providing clothing and essential supplies to the civil service personnel whose homes were damaged by the earthquake was held at the Assembly Hall of the Union Minister’s Office of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation on June 2.
At the event, Union Minister U Min Naung emphasized the importance of mutual support to help reduce the emotional and physical impact caused by the earthquake. He also highlighted the need to be mindful and take precautions to reduce risks from climate change and natural disasters, and to ensure that individual health is not compromised due to poor living and dietary conditions.
He encouraged everyone to promptly report any health or educational needs of staff families so they could receive timely assistance. Following his speech, the Union Minister, Deputy Ministers, and officials distributed aid to 60 personnel whose houses had collapsed due to the earthquake. Each person received seven types of essential items, including beds, mattresses, mosquito nets, blankets, pillows, and clothing, it’s reported.
