Providing Encouragements: NSA UM visited schools and encouraged students

National Security Advisor and Union Minister Admiral Moe Aung, along with relevant officials, visited basic education schools in Mandalay Region on May 7, including Basic Education High Schools No. 3 and 1 in Kyaukse Township, Basic Education High School in Sint Kai Township, and Basic Education High Schools No. 16 and 1 in Chanayethazan Township.

He met with university faculty members and basic education school teachers who were providing teaching in temporary learning camps, as well as with students preparing to retake the 2025 matriculation exams, offering them words of encouragement.

In his address, the Union Minister stated that the earthquake disaster was a major natural calamity that no one could have anticipated. The determination and faith of students who have made it back to classrooms, the support of their parents, the tireless teaching efforts of the teachers, and the systematic coordination by the region government officials are all commendable.

The students are hoped to be the future leaders who will bring benefit to the country. He then distributed refreshments and support supplies to the students. Following this, the Union Minister and officials provided guidance to ensure that the students could learn and stay in safe and peaceful conditions, their nutrition and health were properly cared for, full student enrollment in the temporary training camps was achieved, teachers and administrative staff supervised and supported activities in an organized manner.

Later, they inspected the Mandalay Masoeyein Monastery, which had been damaged by the earthquake, and donated relief supplies. A meeting was also held at the Region government office with responsible officials to discuss the earthquake recovery situation and the arrangements for students retaking the 2025 matriculation exams.
