Providing assistance: SAC member provided assistance to IDPs

Member of State Administration Council, Mahn Nyein Maung, along with ministers from the Ayeyarwady Region Government, attended a ceremony to distribute funds provided by the National Natural Disaster Management Committee to civilians displaced due to acts of violence in various areas of Pantanaw Township held at the Shwe Naw Thiri Hall of the Pantanaw Township Community-Based Central Department (Community Centre) on May 14.

The ceremony commenced with opening remarks by SAC Member Mahn Nyein Maung. Following this, financial assistance was distributed to civilians who had been temporarily displaced from their homes in different areas of the township. The aid was presented by Council Member Mahn Nyein Maung, Ayeyarwady Region Minister for Security and Border Affairs, Minister for Ethnic Affairs and Maubin District Administration Body Chairman. A total of 273 displaced individuals each received 40,000 kyats and the rice.
