Providing Assistance: Meeting with the ICRC delegation

Union Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr Soe Win received Resident Representative of International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) Mr Arnaud de Baecque at the ministry on Thursday.

During the meeting, they discussed matters on the recovery efforts in the quake affected areas, the needs of construction materials and cooperation with the international organizations, as well as the ICRC assistance for water supply, health care services and medical supplies. They also exchanged views on enhancing cooperation between the ministry and ICRC.
